GENERAL EVENT FACTS:

This is a FREE Event, Courtesy of Creative & Curious Parties & Events Secret Society: The Inner Circle of Obscura, Chapter Blackthorne.

The Game is “An interactive, scavenger hunt-inspired murder mystery experience across downtown Hanford.”

Go at your own pace! There is no Official “start or finish times”. You can play anytime between 9:00 a.m. Saturday May 30th & 9:00 p.m. Sunday May 31st.

This event requires players to walk from one participating business to another. There will be eight businesses participating.

GO AT YOUR OWN PACE! “Completion time may vary based on walking pace, breaks, and how deeply teams investigate clues and solve puzzles.”

“The full trail experience takes place within an approximate 1/3-mile area of downtown Hanford.”

We will have a Canopy set up in Civic Center Park. We plan to set it up across the street from the Hanford Fox Theatre. Find us to say HI, pick up your Free bottles of Water, and a couple of little gifts for yourself, and one for the kids!

CONTESTS & PRIZES!

We will have two contests!

Contest #1:
Submit your final accusation identifying WHO committed the crime and HOW the murder was carried out.”

The last website page will have a button to click for the “ACCUSATION FORM”.

You will have until Tuesday, June 2nd at 9:00 p.m. to submit your accusations. The window will close at that time. The drawing and “WINNER” information will be posted on Wednesday, June 3rd on the group posts. Winner will also be contacted with tickets and info via their email.

All CORRECT ACCUSATIONS WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE DRAWING FOR TWO FREE TICKETS TO THIS SUMMERS MURDER MYSTERY PARTY! (This is a $140.00 value). You must get both “Who committed the murder” and “How the murder was committed” CORRECT to be entered into the drawing.

THIS IS THE FUN PART!!

Dress the part…..CALLING ALL DETECTIVES! Dress as your favorite Detective, Or USE YOUR IMAGINATION and CREATE YOUR OWN! TAKE YOUR PICTURE IN FRONT OF ANY ONE OF THE STOPS, Then, POST your pic anywhere online. YOU MUST TAG US in your post. (Creativecuriousevents.com)

We will confirm that we have received your PHOTO by giving you a heart reaction to the post.

We will review all submitted photos. Best dressed detective(s) will win TWO FREE TICKETS TO CLEVR ESCAPE IN VISALIA FOR THE ESCAPE ROOM OF YOUR CHOICE!

This contest will also close on Tuesday, June 2nd at 9:00 p.m. Winner photo and announcement will be posted to the groups on Wednesday, June 3rd, and the winner will be contacted via their email with tickets and information.

GAME INSTRUCTIONS:

Stop by Civic Center Park, find our Booth, and “collect your supplies!”

You will then be given your first “Investigation location”

You will go to the first location and locate the Hanford Murder Trail Flyer for that stop. Check out the flyer for clues.

You will find a QR code on the flyer. Scan the code.

That will take you to the corresponding stop webpage. Check for more clues on there.

At the Bottom of the webpage you will find a “Puzzle” to solve. That puzzle when correctly solved, will reveal the next stop that you need to go to.

Repeat this process at all 8 stops.

On the last website page, you will find a button that will take you to the “Accusation Form”.

Fill the form out with Name and email address (for winner notifications)

Use the drop downs to choose your accusations.

There is a comment section on there as well. We would LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS, of the event, comments, suggestions and questions!
