THE OBSCURA MURDER TRAIL

CHAPTER: BLACKTHORNE

STOP #4 — “THE NOTE”

New information has surfaced in the investigation into the death of Charles Blackthorne.

Authorities have confirmed the discovery of a handwritten note recovered from Mr. Blackthorne’s left trouser pocket.

The note appears to be from an alleged secret lover and includes the following statement:

“I thought you were going to leave her. LIAR. You’re nothing but an embezzling liar. If you don’t tell her, I will.”

The note goes on to reference Mr. Blackthornes employer, Victor Langston, stating:

“And don’t think I won’t tell Victor — I’ll tell him everything.”

Authorities are now looking into Mr. Langston as part of the ongoing investigation,

and are working to determine the identity of the individual identified in the note as “Clara.”
